
Examining the Effects of CMS Strategies on Child Medicaid Enrollment and Public Response
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released an analysis on state Medicaid and CHIP enrollment changes, revealing that states that have expanded Medicaid and implemented federal strategies and flexibilities have seen fewer children disenrolled from the programs. In contrast, the 10 states that have not expanded Medicaid have disenrolled more children and youth than the 40 states and the District of Columbia that have expanded Medicaid combined.
