Lost Dog Reunited with Owner After 3 Weeks of Escape from Delta Air Lines Crate
A Chihuahua mix named Maia, who escaped from her crate at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta three weeks ago, has been found safe and is flying back home to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with her owner's mother. Delta Air Lines conducted extensive search efforts, including visual and night searches, and offered assistance to locate the dog. Animal activist Robin Cole Allgood was able to capture Maia after being alerted by a FedEx cargo worker.
