Hillshire Brands Recalls Smoked Sausage Products for Bone Fragment Contamination
Hillshire Brands is recalling approximately 15,876 pounds of smoked sausage products due to potential contamination with bone fragments, with one reported oral injury. The affected product was sold in several states. Conagra Brands is also recalling about 245,366 pounds of frozen Banquet Chicken Strips Meal over concerns of potential contamination with pieces of plastic, following a consumer complaint of an oral injury. No additional reports of injury or illness have been reported. Consumers are advised not to consume the recalled items and to either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
