Texas City Council and School Board Elections: Results and Runoffs.
Chad West, a Dallas City Council member, has won a third term to represent north Oak Cliff in District 1. West secured over 50% of the vote, beating two first-time council candidates. He has promised to provide affordable housing, protect residents from gentrification, and fund infrastructure improvements in the upcoming 2024 bond election. West is an advocate for housing, biking, and traffic safety, and has lived in the district for almost 15 years.
