Massive Fire Engulfs Mexican Market, Firefighters on Scene
A huge blaze broke out in Mexico City's Central de Abasto, the world's largest wholesale market, on Thursday evening. The fire started in an area where wooden pallets and crates are built and stored, and firefighters battled the blaze for several hours. The market administration reported that the fire affected an area with 359 stands that produced and sold cardboard boxes, wooden crates, and pallets. No injuries were reported, and the rest of the market selling produce and flowers would operate as usual on Friday.
