Ukraine's Grain Exports Face Challenges as CEE Countries Push for Ban Extension
Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia are in favor of extending the European Union ban on Ukrainian grain imports until the end of the year. The ban, which currently allows transit for export elsewhere, is set to end on September 15. The five countries also support grain transit subsidies and want to expand the list of import bans to include other products, such as raspberries in the case of Poland.
