NBC newscaster Morgan Chesky was taken to the ICU after experiencing a cardiac emergency during a hike at Zion National Park. Chesky had a sudden fever after a hike at Bryce Canyon and struggled to catch his breath during the Zion hike. He was diagnosed with High Altitude Pulmonary Edema, a condition that can cause a person to pass out from lack of oxygen or go into cardiac arrest. Chesky thanked the staff of Cedar City Hospital for their care and hopes to recover soon.
