Sweden has requested China's cooperation in investigating damage to two undersea cables in the Baltic Sea, linking the incidents to the Chinese ship Yi Peng Three. The cables, connecting Sweden to Lithuania and Finland to Germany, were damaged in Swedish waters in mid-November. The ship, suspected of dragging its anchor over the cables, is currently in international waters off Denmark. Sweden's Prime Minister emphasized the importance of clarifying the events, while China denies involvement. The incident adds to regional tensions following previous infrastructure damage in the area.
