Woman's Suicide by Cop Attempt at Bristol Police Department Ends in Shootout

A woman, identified as Suzanne Laprise, entered the Bristol Police Department in Connecticut and fired multiple rounds at officers in an apparent attempt at suicide by cop. Laprise, who allegedly consumed alcohol before the incident, was taken into custody without serious injury. She faces charges including attempted murder, illegal discharge of a firearm, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Laprise claimed her daughter had been assaulted in prison and repeatedly told officers to "kill me" during her arrest. The incident occurred almost one year after two members of the department were killed in the line of duty.

Fortunately, the bullet-resistant glass protected the officers, and no one was injured. Laprise was apprehended after officers deployed a stun gun. She is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and illegal discharge of a firearm. The incident occurred almost a year after two Bristol police officers were killed in the line of duty. The Connecticut State Police and the Office of the Inspector General are investigating the incident.

Dennis Hernandez Arrested for Vandalizing ESPN HQ with Brick and Cryptic Note.

Dennis John Hernandez, the brother of ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez, was arrested and charged with breach of peace in the second degree after allegedly throwing a brick attached with a cryptic note at ESPN’s headquarters in Connecticut. The note read, "To all media outlets. It’s about time you all realeyes (sic) the affect media has on all family members. Since you’re a world wide leader maybe you could lead how media and messages are delivered brick by brick. Clean it up!" Aaron Hernandez was found guilty in 2015 of the killing of Odin L. Lloyd and died by suicide in his cell two years later.
