Suspect Identified in Bristol Police Department Shooting

A woman identified as Suzanne Laprise entered the Bristol Police Department in Connecticut and fired multiple shots in the lobby, targeting the front desk. Fortunately, the bullet-resistant glass protected the officers, and no one was injured. Laprise was apprehended after officers deployed a stun gun. She is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and illegal discharge of a firearm. The incident occurred almost a year after two Bristol police officers were killed in the line of duty. The Connecticut State Police and the Office of the Inspector General are investigating the incident.
