Studioforma has designed an introverted house, House LC, in a typical suburban context, which is articulated around two courtyards in a relationship of diagonal symmetry between them. The house is constructed with a reinforced concrete frame and honeycomb brick walls, continuing an Italian tradition. The primary spaces are organized on the ground floor, and a smaller, set-back volume houses an area dedicated to work and study on the first floor. The house has few openings on the external fronts, large plaster surfaces, and rawness of certain details, which aspire to give an abstract image to the construction.

The E8 House, designed by Meir Lobaton Corona and Rafael Ortiz Cervantes, is a residential project that accommodates four families with different requirements and demands. Agora Arquitectura has designed a house on a brick base in St. Vicenç dels Horts, Spain. The lower level of the house is built on a stacked brick base to contain the clay soil of the pre-existing section, while the upper level is a prefabricated CLT box covered with white-washed cork panels. The house features a T-shaped brick wall that acts as a prop and a continuous band that expands the new architecture to the limits of the plot. The interior is left exposed, except for two elements: a tongue-and-groove technical floor and whitewashed plywood volumes that slide between the interior and exterior of the house.
