
"Nebraska State Patrol Identifies Victims in Bloomfield Double Homicide"
The Nebraska State Patrol identified the victims of a double homicide at a bowling alley in Bloomfield, Nebraska as 77-year-old Curtis Strom and 49-year-old William Reffett. 25-year-old Elias Reid was arrested for two counts of first-degree murder, and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Katelyn Sweezy, was arrested for tampering with evidence. Investigators stated that Reid initiated an argument with Reffett and then shot both victims with a shotgun, with Strom being uninvolved in the altercation. Reid and Sweezy disposed of the shotgun in a ditch several miles away from the scene.
