Keanu Reeves played bass with his old rock band Dogstar in its first public concert in more than 20 years at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival in California. Lizzo, the first Black female headliner at BottleRock Napa Valley, called out her "unfriendly" Napa neighbors during her set, citing signs that were "talking about how they want to cancel people like me. Silence people like me. Choke people like me." Despite this, Lizzo delivered an hour-plus set celebrating body positivity and freedom of self-expression, backed by a five-piece all-female band, three backing vocalists, and the dynamic nine-member dance troupe known as the Big Grrrls. The festival concludes its three-day run Sunday, May 28, with performances by the Wu-Tang Clan, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lil Nas X.

BottleRock Napa Valley kicked off its 10th year with a lineup of current hitmakers, classic acts, and up-and-coming artists. Post Malone headlined the festival's first day, while the Smashing Pumpkins and War also delivered solid performances. However, the best sets of the day came from lesser-known artists on smaller stages, including Starcrawler and KennyHoopla.
