BottleRock Napa: Music, Drama, and Yachts

Lizzo, the first Black female headliner at BottleRock Napa Valley, called out her "unfriendly" Napa neighbors during her set, citing signs that were "talking about how they want to cancel people like me. Silence people like me. Choke people like me." Despite this, Lizzo delivered an hour-plus set celebrating body positivity and freedom of self-expression, backed by a five-piece all-female band, three backing vocalists, and the dynamic nine-member dance troupe known as the Big Grrrls. The festival concludes its three-day run Sunday, May 28, with performances by the Wu-Tang Clan, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lil Nas X.
