Colombian authorities, in collaboration with the US Southern Command's Joint Interagency Task Force, seized nearly 4 tons of cocaine from a speedboat in a high-speed chase near San Andres island, resulting in the largest cocaine shipment seizure of the year. The boat's crew, consisting of three Colombians, one Honduran, and one Venezuelan, was arrested, and the drugs, valued at over $113 million, were confiscated. This seizure comes amidst ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in Colombia, a major producer of cocaine.
