Guilty Gear Strive Producer Open to New BlazBlue if Mori Agrees

Xbox Game Pass: New Additions and Losses in April

Xbox Game Pass is adding new titles in late April, including The Last Case of Benedict Fox, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition, Homestead Arcana, and more. Redfall will also be available on May 2. Additionally, there are new downloadable content and game updates, as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks. Some games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 30.

Arc System Works seeks new fighting game partnerships while avoiding BlazBlue and Guilty Gear competition.

Arc System Works is in talks with other companies for new fighting game collaborations, according to CEO Minoru Kidooka. While the company is not done with the BlazBlue series, they do not want it to compete with their main focus, Guilty Gear Strive. Kidooka also stated that the company wants to create something new and impactful for users with the next BlazBlue game. Despite taking on more projects, ArcSys still only employs around 200 people and partners with external developers to help lighten their load.

Arc System Works CEO aims to avoid competition between Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

Arc System Works CEO Minoru Kidooka discussed potential dream games, the future of BlazBlue, and his commitment to pursue new IP collaboration opportunities. He stated that they are focusing mainly on Guilty Gear and don't want it to compete with BlazBlue, but they do plan to touch back on the series at some point. Kidooka also mentioned their collaboration with Eighting and their plan to continue working with other developers to create great games. As for a One Piece fighting game, Kidooka didn't confirm or deny the possibility but stated that they are a small company and have to consider resources before taking up any project.
