Arc System Works is in talks with other companies for new fighting game collaborations, according to CEO Minoru Kidooka. While the company is not done with the BlazBlue series, they do not want it to compete with their main focus, Guilty Gear Strive. Kidooka also stated that the company wants to create something new and impactful for users with the next BlazBlue game. Despite taking on more projects, ArcSys still only employs around 200 people and partners with external developers to help lighten their load.

He stated that they are focusing mainly on Guilty Gear and don't want it to compete with BlazBlue, but they do plan to touch back on the series at some point. Kidooka also mentioned their collaboration with Eighting and their plan to continue working with other developers to create great games. As for a One Piece fighting game, Kidooka didn't confirm or deny the possibility but stated that they are a small company and have to consider resources before taking up any project.
