"Popeyes' Blackened Chicken Sandwich Joins Permanent Menu"
Popeyes has added its Blackened Chicken Sandwich, which was first tested last fall, to its permanent menu. The sandwich features a marinated, breading-free chicken breast seasoned with Cajun spices. Customers can also add bacon and cheese to any of its chicken sandwiches for $1.50. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich is the first permanent addition to Popeyes' chicken sandwich offerings since it launched its fried chicken sandwich in 2019.
