"Rare Six-Legged Gazelle Thrives in Israel's Negev Desert"
A rare sighting of a mountain gazelle with two front legs growing out of its back in Israel's Negev Desert has been documented, marking the first known instance of the rare phenomenon of polymelia in this species. The discovery was made by Nir Leichter, an army reservist, who captured the unusual sight while stopping for coffee at HaBesor Stream in southern Israel.
