The company also revealed that some of its AI characters will support search powered by Bing and will experiment with "long-term memory," allowing the characters to learn and remember conversations. This feature aims to create more realistic and personalized interactions while also helping Meta improve its AI products over time. Users will have the option to clear their chat history, and Meta's use of chat data will adhere to its Generative AI Privacy guidelines.
