Vingegaard’s DIY bib tights fuel a win in brutal Paris-Nice

Jonas Vingegaard won Paris-Nice Stage 4 in brutal cold by wearing modified bib tights worn outside his jersey to stay warm. The tights were pre-cut so teammates could quickly remove them later, but the pace and conditions left little time for adjustments. A later Visma Lease a Bike post explained the strategy: he’d pre-ripped the tights for easy removal, but never had the chance to shed them as the race finished in challenging weather and he took the race lead.
