Jonas Vingegaard won Stage 4 of Paris-Nice in brutal freezing rain, aided by unconventional wardrobe hacks: multiple layers, a second jacket worn backwards for wind protection, and a modified second pair of bib tights with the chamois removed, as well as extra overshoes. He finished 41 seconds ahead of the field, embracing the optics of his DIY cold-weather gear and joking that he’s a trendsetter for the look.
