Ariana DeBose to Host 2023 Tony Awards, Committee Rules on Eligibility for Upcoming Season.
The Tony Awards Administration Committee has made eligibility decisions for several productions, including Between Riverside and Crazy, Parade, Bob Fosse's Dancin', Bad Cinderella, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Stephen McKinley Henderson and Linedy Genao were ruled eligible in the Leading Actor and Actress categories, respectively. The 76th Annual Tony Awards will be hosted on June 11 at the United Palace in New York City's Washington Heights. Productions that open by April 27, 2023, will be eligible for this year's awards, and nominations will be announced on May 2.
