Phish's SPAC Benefit Concerts Aid Flood Recovery Efforts in Vermont and Upstate New York

Phish will be hosting two special benefit concerts at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Aug. 25 and 26 to aid in the flood recovery efforts in Vermont and Upstate New York. All ticket sales and concert merchandise proceeds will go directly to The WaterWheel Foundation's 2023 Flood Recovery Fund, which aims to support flood victims, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the affected regions. The concerts come as part of Phish's extensive summer tour, with tickets going on sale to the general public on July 29.

Eric Church named Artist-in-Residence at Country Music Hall of Fame, to perform benefit concerts.

Eric Church has been announced as the Country Music Hall of Fame's 18th artist-in-residence, where he will perform one-of-a-kind shows over multiple evenings at the CMA Theater. He will also play two benefit concerts on August 29th and 30th, with all ticket proceeds going to the museum's educational mission. Church is also kicking off his extensive The Outsiders Revival Tour this weekend, featuring an impressive list of performers rotating as openers.

Tragic Discovery: Bodies of Lotus Drummer Chuck Morris and Son Found After Going Missing.

The bodies of Chuck Morris, percussionist for the band Lotus, and his son Charley were found 24 days after they went missing while kayaking in Arkansas. The cause of Charley's death was drowning, and the search for Chuck ended with his body being recovered. Lotus announced benefit concerts to pay tribute to the father and son, with 100% of the net proceeds going to the Morris family. The band also postponed their April West Coast Tour and is working on rescheduling.
