Massive Recall of Beef Wieners in Ohio Due to Mislabeling and Undeclared Allergens
Over 3,000 pounds of fully cooked beef wiener products are being recalled in Ohio due to misbranding and an undeclared milk allergen. The products, produced by Perdue Premium Meat Company, may actually contain smoked sausage, which contains milk. The recall includes vacuum-sealed packages labeled "BROOKSIDE BRAND FULLY COOKED NATURAL CASING BEEF WIENERS" with specific lot and case codes.
