Avian flu spreads across North and South Dakota turkey flocks.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has reported another case of avian flu in a commercial turkey meat flock in Beadle County, South Dakota. The flock of 75,800 birds will be euthanized to prevent the spread of the virus. Avian flu has also been detected in wild birds and other domestic flocks in the state, with a total of 3.9 million birds affected in this outbreak.
