TYPE-MOON has pushed Fate/EXTRA Record’s spring 2026 release to an unannounced date and announced a change of publisher from Bandai Namco. Development will continue under TYPE-MOON’s BB studio, with the new publisher and release window to be announced once decided. The remake is planned for PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam, and is led by Kazuya Niinou.
CyberConnect2 announced .hack//Z.E.R.O., a new action RPG in the .hack series for home consoles, to be fully self-planned, developed, and published by CyberConnect2 with Bandai Namco’s permission. Platforms and release date are not announced yet. The game aims to blend The World’s fantasy with real-world drama, features music by Taro Hakase, and will be introduced with a teaser trailer by Kamikaze Douga.
