"Ballad Health Enforces Mandatory Employee Masking Policy"
Ballad Health has implemented a new masking policy requiring employees to wear masks in all clinical areas due to the rise of influenza, COVID, and RSV in the region. The policy applies to team members, medical staff, and vendors, while visitors can still choose to wear masks. Tennessee is among the 15 states with a "high level" of respiratory viral illnesses, according to the CDC. Ballad will continue to provide separate waiting areas for respiratory illness in emergency departments when possible.
