TSA Discovers Bullets Concealed in Baby Diaper at LaGuardia Airport
TSA agents at New York City's LaGuardia Airport discovered 17 bullets hidden inside a baby's diaper after a man's carry-on bag triggered an alarm. The man initially claimed ignorance about the bullets but later suggested his girlfriend may have placed them in his bag. In a separate incident, TSA agents at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport prevented a Maryland man from bringing a loaded handgun onto an aircraft, marking the 38th gun detected at the airport this year. The TSA has seen a spike in the number of firearms detected at checkpoints nationwide, with over 6,000 handguns stopped so far this year.
