AzukiDAO Seeks to Recover 20K Ether After NFT Mint Mishap
Holders of Azuki non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are voting for the return of nearly 20,000 ether following the controversial Elementals NFT mint. The vote proposes allocating the funds to a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to support the growth of the Azuki community. The AzukiDAO, consisting of ex-core contributors and "diamond handed" NFT holders, aims to take legal action against Azuki creator "Zagabond" for alleged scams. However, some question the authenticity and intentions of AzukiDAO. The Elementals collection faced criticism for its similarities to the original Azuki collection, causing the Azuki's floor price to drop by almost 50%.
