Undeclared Milk Found in Mislabeled Tostitos Avocado Salsa Jar Dip, Frito-Lay Issues Allergy Alert
Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall of select 15 oz. Tostitos Avocado Salsa Jar Dips that may contain an undeclared milk allergen. The back of the jar is mislabeled with another product’s nutrition information and declarations, resulting in the allergen milk not being declared on the label. The product was distributed nationwide at retail stores and via e-commerce channels. Consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not consume the product and discard it immediately. No allergic reactions related to this matter have been reported to date.
