CBI arrests multiple suspects in Vivekananda Reddy murder case involving Andhra Pradesh politicians

The CBI has arrested Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy, the brother of former Andhra Pradesh minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, in connection with his murder case. Bhaskar Reddy is the father of Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy and uncle of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He is the fifth accused to be arrested in the case. The CBI expedited the pace of investigation after the Supreme Court constituted a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the agency and directed it to complete the investigation by April 30.
