Microsoft Edge Enhances Ad and Autoplay Blocking Features
Microsoft Edge Canary has reintroduced the option to block autoplay videos, which had been removed in a previous update. The feature is currently being tested and will be rolled out to Edge users in the future. The new setting, called "Block," is more restrictive than the previous "Limit" option and will stop all media on a site from automatically playing. Users can enable the feature by navigating to edge://settings/content/mediaAutoplay through the address bar or the Cookies and Site Permissions section of the Edge Settings page.
