Tigers' Austin Meadows Opens Up About Anxiety Struggles
Detroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows is continuing treatment for anxiety and focusing on his mental health, according to manager AJ Hinch. Meadows, who has been on the injured list since April, has been making incremental gains but also experiencing rough times. There is no definitive plan for his return, and he has been receiving treatment at home and traveling to different places to seek improvement. Meadows also missed most of last season due to anxiety, vertigo, Achilles tendinitis, and COVID.
