US House Republicans have launched an investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who brought criminal charges against former President Donald Trump for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan raised concerns about coordination with the US Justice Department and the use of federal funds in the investigation. Republicans have also pursued a similar probe against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Trump, who is facing criminal charges in four cases, accused Willis of continuing a "witch hunt" in coordination with President Joe Biden's DOJ.
