The survey also found differences in how Asian immigrants and those born in the US see themselves, with immigrants more likely to use specific ethnic labels. Respondents also don't see Asians in the US as a monolithic group, with 90% saying there are a variety of cultures among ethnic groups originating on the continent. The survey also found that Asians are politically diverse, with 62% identifying as Democrats or leaning that way.
