Artscape 2023, the signature Baltimore arts festival, is returning this weekend after a four-year hiatus. The festival's footprint has expanded into the Station North Arts District, and public transportation will be free throughout the weekend.
A docuseries titled "The Man Will Burn" is in the works, chronicling the history of Burning Man, the desert campout arts festival. Filmed over three years with the cooperation of the Burning Man Project and featuring archive footage from the last 30 years, the series will explore how the event evolved from a small function in San Francisco to a massive celebration in the desert. The project is co-financed by Double Agent and currently seeking networks or streamers to attach.
