"Double Homicide Suspect Shoots Himself Near Sacramento Mall"
The suspect in a double homicide in the Arden-Arcade area, identified as Ricky Hunter, shot himself in front of law enforcement near the Arden Fair Mall after being tracked to an AT&T store. Sacramento police officers responded to the area for a report of a possibly armed suicidal person, later determining the individual was possibly connected to the Howe Avenue incident where two women were found dead. Hunter later died in the hospital after shooting himself in the chest.
