"Japanese Startup Unveils $3 Million Gundam-inspired Robot"

Tokyo-based start-up Tsubame Industries has developed a 4.5-meter-tall robot called ARCHAX, resembling the popular Japanese animation series "Mobile Suit Gundam," which can be purchased for $3 million. The robot has cockpit monitors that allow the pilot to control its movements, and it can switch between an upright "robot mode" and a "vehicle mode" capable of traveling up to 10 km/h. Tsubame Industries plans to build and sell five of these robots, with potential applications in disaster relief and the space industry. The company's CEO, Ryo Yoshida, aims to preserve Japan's manufacturing competitiveness and carry on the tradition.
