Lego's new 468-piece arcade machine set, launching on August 1, 2025, features detailed design elements like a coin slot and miniature gaming room, including a tiny arcade and a nod to retro Lego games, though it is not playable like previous models.
A rare Discs of Tron arcade machine, worth around $10,000, was found in near-perfect condition on the side of the road in Chicago. Game historian Tim Lapetino stumbled upon the machine after his niece mentioned seeing a "Tron thing" while riding her bike. The owner, an older woman, had left it out assuming it would be picked up by garbage collectors. Lapetino rescued the machine and brought it to his family's garage, realizing it was his "holy grail game." The machine, with minimal damage and all original parts, could fetch a high price due to its rarity.
