Intel's Arc GPUs See Significant Performance Boost with Latest Driver Update
Intel claims a 19% average FPS improvement in DirectX 11 games with its recently released drivers for the Arc Alchemist graphics cards. The drivers use a whitelist approach to enhance performance and reduce frame time. However, the driver only works for certain whitelisted games, and Intel is still verifying its compatibility with other titles. Intel has also revamped its tool called PresentMon, releasing a new beta version that supports all GPU vendors and graphics APIs, providing GPU telemetry and metrics such as GPU Busy.
