Anzac Day: Reflections on Remembrance and Militarism.
Prince William stood alone at dawn to honor soldiers who lost their lives in battle for Anzac Day, a national day of remembrance for every Australian and New Zealand soldier who has died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. The haunting photo shows the prince bowing his head in a moment of silence while wearing a dark navy trench coat with a matching pair of slacks and black loafers. The celebration of Anzac Day in London has been a tradition since King George V personally attended the first service at Westminster Abbey in 1916.
