Missouri bow hunter bags potential record-setting 18-point doe
Kelly Moore, a bow hunter from Shell Knob, Missouri, shot an 18-point antlered doe with a crossbow in Barry County, potentially setting a world record. Moore, who has been hunting since he was a child, had been waiting for this opportunity and decided to go out early after spotting the massive deer on his trail camera. The deer, which is extremely rare as antlered does are uncommon, has been delivered to a taxidermist for preservation, and an official score will be determined after 60 days. A rough estimate puts the deer's score at 157 7/8, potentially making it the third-largest in the world.
