Actor Jason Isaacs will play the major antagonist, Lord Enver Gortash, in Baldur's Gate 3, a character who has stepped up as the protector of Baldur's Gate after the disappearance of Duke Ravengard. Isaacs is known for his villain roles, including Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films and Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Baldur's Gate 3 is set to release on PC and PS5 on August 31, 2023, after its extended early access period, with an Xbox version to follow.
