Italian PM Giorgia Meloni ends relationship over partner's offensive TV remarks
Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has announced her separation from her long-time partner, Andrea Giambruno, after explicit off-air comments made by Giambruno were broadcast on a TV show. The couple, who have a seven-year-old daughter, had been together for almost 10 years. Giambruno's remarks included flirting with a female colleague and making lewd references to group sex. This is not the first time he has caused controversy, as he was previously accused of victim-blaming. Meloni, known for her traditional Catholic family values, thanked Giambruno for the years they spent together and emphasized that her family should not be used to weaken her.
