SF Restaurant Apologizes for Hosting Anti-Trans Dinner
American Bites, a restaurant in San Francisco, hosted an anti-trans event put on by the San Francisco GOP, which reportedly made a San Francisco Chronicle reporter vomit. One of the restaurant's owners said he would not have hosted the event if he had known it was going to be as controversial as it turned out to be. The event was initially billed as “a reasonable conversation for parents who have concerns,” but it instead devolved into general anti-transgender screeds. The San Francisco GOP did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
