The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU is now available for $999 US, matching the MSRP of AMD's RX 7900 XTX. The ZOTAC Trinity OC variant of the RTX 4080 is being sold by US retailer B&H, offering a 17% discount from the official price. The card features a triple-fan design, RGB lighting, and a factory overclock. In terms of performance, the RTX 4080 and RX 7900 XTX trade blows, with the former excelling in ray tracing and DLSS support, while the latter offers higher VRAM and power efficiency. This is not the first time the RTX 4080 has seen a significant price drop, and despite its high price compared to its predecessor, NVIDIA has been able to maintain its pricing advantage in this generation.
