Silencing the World: Visual Noise Canceling Eyeglasses
Swedish company AmbiCare has teamed up with industrial design consultancy Myra to create QuietFrames, a pair of "visual noise canceling" eyeglasses. The glasses are designed to reduce the amount of visual information processed by the brain, leading to improved focus and reduced stress. The soft shielding on QuietFrames eliminates peripheral distractions and minimizes flickering from overhead lights, while part of the lenses are nearly opaque to provide maximum shielding without making the user feel too enclosed. The hinges are flexible, with soft and adjustable temple tips and nose pads, and they have a comfort filter that reduces blue light.
