Unprecedented Sighting: Pink Dolphin Spotted in Louisiana Waters
A rare pink dolphin was spotted swimming in Louisiana waters near the Gulf of Mexico. Thurman Gustin captured a video of the dolphin, believed to be an albino bottlenose dolphin, briefly coming out of the water. This genetic mutation is extremely rare, with only about 20 recorded sightings since the mid-20th century. Amazon river dolphins can also be pink but are only found in freshwater in South America.
