Nvidia is partnering with Palo Alto Networks, Akamai, Siemens, Forescout and Xage Security to harden critical infrastructure by embedding security into industrial OT devices, using Nvidia’s BlueField chips to separate security tasks from the main CPU, while the partners add segmentation and secure remote access to protect energy grids, pipelines and other essential assets without slowing operations.
Akamai (AKAM) stock fell 10.4% after reporting fourth-quarter results with revenue below expectations and providing guidance for the next quarter that missed consensus estimates, reflecting expectations for a revenue decline in the first half of the year as CDN customer contracts are renewed. Despite this, the company had a stronger quarter previously, with revenue and EPS beating expectations and benefiting from a partnership with WWT to sell security solutions. The stock is currently trading 10.2% below its 52-week high, and investors who bought shares 5 years ago would now see a 63% return on their investment.
