"Measles Exposure Warning for Travelers at Dulles and Reagan Airports"

Health officials in Washington, D.C. are warning of a potential measles exposure at Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport after a person with a confirmed case of measles traveled through both airports. The exposure occurred in the international arrivals area of Dulles and terminal A at Reagan National Airport. Measles is highly contagious and symptoms can appear 7 to 14 days after exposure. Health agencies advise those who may have been exposed to be on alert for symptoms until Jan. 25 and to contact healthcare providers if symptoms develop.
